City Virgin of Amsterdam
The City Virgin of Amsterdam (1655), is the patroness of the city, together with help and strength for the art, peace and interests of all people in the world.
Now that the Dam is empty again for the first time in 13 years, it was time for the City Virgin to go for a nice bike ride again.
The City Virgin also appeared in this century:
Stan’s cafe during the Holland festival 2007 in the en Muziekgebouw.
Presentation of the Groot Amsterdams Sprookjes boek in 2008 in the Concertgebouw.
