Vis aan het IJ, kunst in coronatijd
door Remy Vlek
Some photos I captured during my walks around Haarlemmmerbuurt in the first month of new regulations, between 12 March and 12 April.
Starting from 12 March 2020, new measures are announced to stop the spread of Coronavirus in Amsterdam. Many of the shops were closed down which led to fewer people on the street. Shops started to highlight 1.5-meter distance rule all-around their space, starting from their window displays.
Haarlemmerbuurt is hosting around 250 shops and is always full of people, including both locals and tourists. But things have been different lately… The reflections of the final happenings can be seen on A4 pages in different tones.
