A ‘clinckdicht’ with corona: Sounds, clarifies, sonar, sonnet
door Sytske van Bochove
This year Pesach, the ten-day Jewish ‘Easter celebration’, began on 8 April. On that evening a seider is given, a ritual meal commemorating the liberation from Egyptian slavery. For that meal, a dish is needed containing all the ingredients that remind us of the difficult journey through the desert, such as an egg, a bitter herb and a goat bone.
On the photo we see Daniel H. Baron of restaurant HaCarmel Pesach dishes and handing out Pesach meals to members of the Jewish communities in Amsterdam.
