The Secret Lives of Tulips
The series of ten images represent the secret lives of tulips photographed in my apartment in Keizersgracht during a lockdown. I was fascinated by their secret lives, sunlight, shapes, forms, adaptability and extraordinary beauty that changed daily. It was the sunlight and nature combined in one that gave us hope that we will come out from this lockdown renewed, changed and stronger, because nature has a capacity to be renewed into extraordinary forms of beauty. We had a time to observe this beauty in silence.
