As a result of my earlier submission here is another eyewitness photo of the removal of the installation by the municipality and that all that remains is the word “Removed” in a circle of tape preceding and referring to King’s Day. The Artist is now indeed totally absent…

Dadara’s public guerrilla intervention briefly transformed the public space into an exhibition space. This was short-lived. Even without the artist ‘present’ this intervention on Museumplein would not have been allowed, which makes the question of how we give Amsterdam back to its citizens even more urgent.
