Sloten Windmill community initiative
The Sloten Windmill is one of the few still operating windmills in the country that is open to the public on a daily basis. There is a lot to see and learn inside about the technology of windmills and the history of the Sloten and Oud Osdorp districts. The windmill is managed by a group of residents. In this video, windmill employee Marc and community organiser Stefania set out to bring one of the volunteers, who is recovering from corona at home, a bouquet of flowers. So sweet!
