Re-opening of primary schools

From today the primary schools are open again. A good reason for a festive opening at primary school De Bijlmerhorst in Zuidoost, including music and an arch of balloons. An exciting day for the children, but at the same time stressful for the teachers because of the risk of infection.
After weeks of online teaching, Miss Maud’s pupils were happy to see her again. Straight away she found herself facing a barrage of questions. ‘So nice to see them again’, she says. ‘I really missed them.’
Especially the interaction, which is so much easier in a classroom than via the computer, makes her feel so much happier as a teacher.
