Dissent on Nieuwmarkt square
This photograph was taken at Nieuwmarkt near the start of Zeedijk on 24 February 2021. What a mess they made of this public space with all those bicycles, that dilapidated looking toilet building and a sign telling people to stay 1.5 metres apart. A rebellious resident of Amsterdam added the words ‘nonsense’ to the sign.
