With a series of one-man flower parades, artists Teun Castelein and Sasja Strengholt attempt to bring some relief to Amsterdam at the time of the corona.
What is a one-man flower parade? It is a traditional flower parade adapted to the covid-19 regulations. With their flower parades Castelein and Strengholt cross the city to bring art with an uplifting dose of flower power to the people.

Teun Castelein and Sasja Strengholt Amsterdam are brightening up with one-man flower parades – even the artists’ shoes are themed. Now that a visit to the flower fields is not recommended because of the hustle and bustle, this mobile performance brings enormous living floral arrangements to the front doors of Amsterdammers. And if you look, you keep looking. Not only the colours, but also the detail. Especially when you realize that each flower is manually attached and inserted into the construction.
